[cobirds] Announcement: Bird walk, Greenlee Preserve, Boulder County, Nov. 5

Hey, all. Please join us for a fun, free, family-friendly bird walk tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, Nov. 5, at Greenlee Preserve, Boulder County. We'll meet at the observation deck at the preserve at 1pm MST (note time change!), and bird together for about two hours. More details here:

Some birds at Greenlee Preserve & environs in the past week have included hooded merganser, western grebe, Wilson snipe, mountain chickadee, bushtit, red-breasted nuthatch, brown creeper, and white-throated sparrow.

By the way, I was out this frosty Sat. morn, Nov. 4, at Walden Ponds, Boulder County, where I saw 6 wood ducks, 2 snowy egrets, 1 northern shrike, 5+ marsh wrens, and an American pipit. American tree sparrows were widespread.
