My apologies for the late post.
On Tuesday afternoon, 9/19, around 5:30 PM, I left the Wild Bird Center at Wadsworth and Yale and headed east on Yale. About 8 blocks in, I had the jaw-dropping experience of seeing a red shouldered hawk sail and flap at treetop level from right to left across the road. I searched the neighborhood, but could not refind him The view, had it been photographed, was worthy of a book on hawks.
