A catbird is mewing from the lower branches of a fir tree and 2 red-breasted and 2 white-breasted nuthatches are eating sunflower seeds and suet, respectively in my front yard.
Earlier, a female Cassin's finch (new for property) was chirping in my Wash. Hawthorne tree! The Cassin's has a much "fuller" chip than a House finch.
