[cobirds] Bird Conservancy Banding Report - Barr Lake Station, 9/23/17

Rather slow morning......The birds around yesterday appear to have left ahead of the predicted rain, and not much new came in.  Banded 24 birds today, which providing good viewing for the Kingery's Beginning Birder class which spent the morning with us.  Here's the breakdown:

Warbling Vireo 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch 1
American Robin 1 (FOS)
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 5
Wilson's Warbler 10
Lincoln's Sparrow 2
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Pink-sided 1

Come visit! We are open 6 days per week (*CLOSED Mondays*), weather permitting, through October 15. We are opening nets at 6:30 and should have birds back at the station before 7:30. We will close most days by about 11:30. School groups arrive most weekdays at
about 9:30.
