[cobirds] Wilson's Snipe, Arapahoe County

I wanted to let anyone interested in some rather good vies of a snipe (or even adding to a life or county list). Along the Mary Carter Greenway I found two snips last Friday but had to rush to work and was unable to post anything. Now today I saw on was still present. It is on the opposite side of the river trail, giving some very good views and photography chances. In order to get to this area park at Reynold's Landing off of Santa Fe, 6745 S Santa Fe Dr, Littleton, CO 80120, from the parking lot head north (downstream) across the bridge and past the round about, keep heading north until you pass the Denver Seminary on a hill to the right (along with a barn) and once you see a small stream feeding into the river from the golf course (Dutch Creek on the maps) walk past just a few hundred feet, search this area just past the creek along the rocks on the opposite shore. Views are among the best I have ever had of these elusive birds. This area is just before Hudson Gardens (or past if you are going upstream).
