[cobirds] Pre-trip Scouting for upcoming Raptor Alley Tour #1 [Northwest Weld]

Hi all

Saturday (windy) had the following ...

• Northern Harrier - 4
• Merlin - 1 (just south of my house--must be the "usual")
• Red-tailed Hawk - 11
• Ferruginous Hawk - 4
• American Kestrel - 6
• Golden Eagle - 2 (west of Nunn; and just north of my house)

Sunday birded all the various farm ponds south of Loveland (Berthoud, Highland, etc) ... apparently "all" ducks favor this region more than north of Fort Collins or north central Weld County.  I saw a wide variety and large numbers of waterfowl.
