[cobirds] Bird Conservancy Banding Report - Barr Lake Station, 10/13/16

Another very good day for mid-October.  Yellow-rumpeds continue, along with White-crowned Sparrow and Juncos.  The big birds - Flickers, Jays, Red-winged Blackbirds, Magpies - are around and noisy, taunting us from the trees above the nets.  Here's the breakdown of the 44 new birds for the day:

Downy Woodpecker 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 3
Hermit Thrush 4
American Robin 1 return, banded 2015
Orange-crowned Warbler 3
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 14
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 1
Song Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 10
Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Pink-sided 5

Three more days!  We will take the station down after banding on Sunday.
