Hello Fellow Ornithologists/Field Biologists,
The annual convention of the Colorado Field Ornithologists will be held Thursday May 5 to Monday May 9 in Lamar, Colorado. We invite proposals for presentations to be given during the scientific paper session on May 7 from 1:30-4:30. Speakers will have 15-20 minutes to present their topics and lead question-and-answer sessions. Topics of interest include ongoing research into Colorado birds or their habitats, advances in field identification of Colorado birds and new information regarding their status or distribution. Please limit your abstract to 250 words and be sure to include a title, the name of the presenters, affiliations, addresses and emails.
Also, please be aware of our new student registration fees of only $30.00. This will include the welcome picnic, guided fieldtrips, student social, paper session and the banquet with a keynote speaker. Presenters do not need to be registered for the conference, but are highly encouraged to join in on the fun.
