[cobirds] Red-necked Grebes, Chatfield Reservoir, Jefferson Co. (late report)

About noon on Sunday, Nov. 8, while scanning from the Heronry overlook
at Chatfield, I observed three "different" grebes swimming together
near, but not mixed in with, the many hundreds of Western Grebes
present. I thought all three were Red-necked Grebes, but because of the
unusual number, and because I wasn't sure what a juv. Western Grebe
would look like in Nov., I hesitated to post it on COBIRDS without
confirmation. They have since been confirmed by Joey Kellner.
