Hi all,
The Red-necked Grebe I found yesterday, was still present, along with one Common Loon. Looking west from the parking lot at West Fishing Road around 8:30am this morning (12 November).
This is my 3rd Red-necked Grebe this year at Pueblo Reservoir (one in January, one in April, and now this one). This species has been become a lot more regular in Colorado in recent years it seems and Pacific Loons seem to have dropped off in recent years. I seem to see a lot more Red-necked Grebes in CO, than Pacific Loons, any more. I'd like to a see a Pacific Loon down here, I'll keep watching (I seem to have better luck with Red-throated Loons down here, then Pacifics for whatever reason).
Good birding,
Brandon Percival
