[cobirds] Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk in Pueblo County

On my way home from Pueblo tonight I took a detour south and found a dark morph Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk.  It was at dusk but I got two pics that show field marks that I have uploaded to my Birds and Nature blog.

I also did a little birding at Pueblo State Park this afternoon but saw very little.  It is a good thing that Curve-billed Thrashers are so reliable when one looks in the right habitat and I did see one whose photos I also uploaded.  On my way down to Pueblo I checked Brush Hollow Res that only had a couple of Ring-billed Gulls, a few common distant ducks and a half dozen Western Grebes.  Saw the same basic birds there over the week-end but did get to watch a Peregrine make a try for one of the Western Grebes.
