Walking up a road is one thing, but we birders rarely show up without binoculars. I have often wondered about the ethics/legality of posting the location of strangers' feeders. I think in the future that before we advertise a yard where an interesting bird was seen, we should get the permission of the property owner. I'm sure most people don't appreciate having strangers peering into their yard with binoculars.
Just a thought.
