[cobirds] Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (Boulder)

At 3:00 today a female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker graced my backyard in north-central Boulder. Yard bird 123!  This is the first sapsucker species I've seen in the yard in the 24 years I've lived here.

After five minutes, the bird disappeared while I was fiddling with my camera. Photos of the bird are below.

The other time I saw a YBSA in Colorado was just one block away from my house, at the Boulder Community Gardens on March 15, 2019.

Good birding,

Richard Trinkner
Boulder
