Birders,
In addition to the birds I posted at John Martin Reservoir (Bent County)
yesterday, it appears more birds are showing up. Today, I had three
Common Loons together on a point about 2 miles west of Point Overlook on
the north side of the Reservoir. For those familiar with my work, the
birds were on the point where the road leads to Dinosaur Island, a place
where I've shown hundreds of people Piping Plovers. That island is under
about 20 feet of water, but the road leading to it is still obvious.
