[cobirds] Black-crowned Night-Herons

Hi -

Jeff and I wandered up to I-270 and the Platte and walked south a bit over a mile this morning.  Just upstream of the big effluent outflow south of I-270, we found seven Black-crowned Night-Herons (6 adult, 1 immature) which was a somewhat unexpected treat.

In that same area was an adult male Wood Duck.
