[cobirds] 2016 Fountain Creek Regional Park Winter Bird Count

Happy New Year!

Please join us on Saturday, January 9, 2016 for this year's Fountain Creek Regional Park winter bird count (not to be confused with the Fountain Christmas Bird Count). This is the 24th annual winter count at Fountain Creek Regional Park, and a great opportunity to get in another count if you didn't get your fill of Christmas Bird Counts this year.

Where: Fountain Creek Nature Center (320 Peppergrass Ln, Fountain, CO, 80817)

When: 8:30 – 11:00 a.m., January 9, 2016

Who: Everyone is welcome

What to bring: Binoculars, field guides, cameras, water, warm clothes

                       $5 to support the nature center's bird seed supply 

We will provide: Coffee, orange juice, light breakfast fare beforehand

After we count, we'll return to the nature center for a brief tally of the species found.
