COBirds,
Last night while changing my spark plugs, I heard the unmistakable flight call of an Upland Sandpiper overhead. In spring and late summer this is a nightly/daily occurrence in North Central Texas where I'm from, but eBird sure shows them to be rare in Larimer County. One of my favorite calls for sure. This must have been about 10pm, southeast Fort Collins, Larimer County.
Keep your eyes and ears peeled and check the grassy fields and sod farms!
Good birding,
Derek Hill
