ADAMS COUNTY:
--A RED PHALAROPE was reported by Breitsch on puddles along Tower Road just N of 96th Ave on October 23.  The RED PHALAROPE was reported by Minner-Lee, Walbek and Kaempfer on October 24.  The RED PHALAROPE was reported by Sanders, Kingswood, and Walbek on October 25.   The RED PHALAROPE was reported by Breitsch, Kibbe, and Miller on October 26.  The RED PHALAROPE was reported by Roller, Chavez, and Sheeter on October 27.   On October 30, Corwin reported that the RED PHALAROPE was on the east side of Tower Road approximately where 100th Ave would cross.
--A POMARINE JAEGER was reported by Kibbe at Barr Lake SP in the NW corner on October 26.  Rynes reported the POMARINE JAGER on October 27.  
--At Rocky Mountain Arsenal on October 29, Kibbe reported a Swamp Sparrow in the SW corner of Lake Ladora and a f Black scoter at Lower Derby Lake.  On October 30, Goulart reported Swamp Sparrow on the Se side of Lake Mary near the closed bridge.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Walbek at Cherry Creek SP on November 1 along the dam near the outlet tower.
--A MEW GULL and Thayer's Gull were found by Kirkpatrick at Cherry Creek SP on the west side on November 1.

BENT/KIOWA COUNTIES:
--At Blue Lake (Adobe Creek Reservoir) on October 30, Leatherman reported 3 Dunlin, 1 ad Lesser Black-backed Gull, and heard 5 Lapland Longspur.  Access to the reservoir is not easy.  On October 31, Leatherman reported 2 f Black Scoters and Lapland Longspurs at Blue Lake.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--Nunes reported that the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW has returned to the hedgerow at Teller Farm N trailhead off Valmont Road on October 29.
--A juv LITTLE GULL was reported by Mlodinow at Terry Lake on October 30.  Terry Lake is on the east side of 95th a couple of miles N of Hwy 66.  On October 31, the LITTLE GULL was reported by Sheeter, DeFonso, Vanderpoel, and Nunes.  On November 1, Nick Moore reported that the LITTLE GULL continues at Terry Lake.

DENVER COUNTY:
--A Surf Scoter and Black Scoter were reported by Rurik at Ferril Lake in Denver City Park on October 30.  They were on the west side.  On October 31, the Surf and Black Scoter were reported by Chavez, Hundertmark, McBurney, Jones, Sanders, and Wilberding.  On November 1, Schottler reported that the Surf and Black Scoter continue a Ferril Lake.

DOUGLAS/JEFFERSON COUNTIES:
--On October 16, Walbek reported a juv POMARINE JAEGER and RED PHALAROPE at Chatfield SP.  The POMARINE JAEGER was reported by Bunker, Walbek, and Dowell at Chatfield SP on October 17.  The POMARINE JAEGER was reported by Dunning at Chatfield SP on October 18.  The POMARINE JAEGER was reported by Hess and Hudak on October 19.  The POMARINE JAEGER was reported by Stachowiak, Deininger, and Klaver on October 20.  On October 23, Chavez reported the POMARINE JAEGER at Chatfield SP.  Kaempfer and Vanderpoel reported the POMARINE JAEGER at Chatfiled SP on October 25.  On October 26, Walbek reported 2 Red-necked Grebes and POMARINE JAEGER at Chatfield SP.  On October 28, Kibbe reported the POMARINE JAEGER at Chatfield SP.
--On October 27, Kibbe reported a juv MEW GULL at the sandspit N of the marina at Chatfield SP.
--On November 1, Walbek reported 2 Red-necked Grebes along the north shore at Chatfield SP.  They are best seen from north marina area.  
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Walbek at Chatfield SP on November 1.

HUERFANO COUNTY:
--At Lathrop SP on October 26, Neldner reported a Tennessee Warbler at North Martin Inlet, Red-necked Grebe at Huajatolla Cove, and Black Scoter at Horseshoe Lake.
--3 Tundra Swans were reported by Severs near Cucharas Reservoir on October 28.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--Chavez reported that the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW has returned to the Red Rocks Trading Post on October 29.

LAKE COUNTY:
--An imm Surf Scoter was reported by Kellner at Mount Elbert Forebay on October 27.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--A BRANT was reported by Scott Baron at Equalizer Lake near Loveland on October 25.  Equalizer Lake is near I-25 and US 34, west of Medical Center of the Rockies, access is via CR 24.  The BRANT was reported by Steadman, Komar, and Miller on October 26.  The BRANT was reported by Tracy P and Derek Hill on October 27.  On October 28, Minner-Lee reported that the BRANT showed up mid-morning at the SW corner of Houts Reservoir.  On October 29, Shenot reported that the Brant was seen on the W side of Houts Reservoir.   On October 30, Kogler reported the Brant was see at Houts Reservoir.  The BRANT was reported by Griffin and Wade at Houts Reservoir on October 31.  The BRANT was reported by Taylor and Bretting on the the W side of Houts Reservoir on November 1.

LOGAN COUNTY:
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Dowell at North Sterling Reservoir on October 27.

MESA COUNTY:
--8 Tundra Swans were reported by McGinley at Highline Lake SP on November 1.

PARK COUNTY:
--At Eleven Mile Reservoir on October 27, Kellner reported Surf Scoter, Black Scoter, and Red-necked Grebe.
--On October 27, at Antero Reservoir, Kellner reported Pacific Loon and juv Red-necked Grebe.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--During the October 21 - 26 period, Leatherman reported the following:  Red-bellied Woodpecker at Lamar Community College (LCC), Fairmount Cemetery, Willow Valley Subdivision; 3 Northern Cardinal at LCC; 2 White-winged Doves in Willow Valley Subdivision, 2 White-throated Sparrows at LCC.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--On October 29 at Pueblo Reservoir, Percival reported ad LAUGHING GULL at SWA, 1st-cyc Lesser Black-backed Gull on W Fishing Road, 3 White-throated Sparrows in Rock Canyon.
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Percival at Pueblo Reservoir seen from South Shore Marina on November 1.

WELD COUNTY:
--A Swamp Sparrow was reported by Sheeter at Beebe Draw on October 25.
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Mlodinow at Union Reservoir on October 30.

DFO Field Trips:
The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, November 2 will be the Scoter Trip led by Joey Kellner(303-978-1748).  Meet at 0630 on the side of Deer Creek Canyon Road just west of Wadsworth to join Joey in an all-day search for migrant grebes, loons, and scoters.  Bring lunch and come prepared for all kinds of weather and the wide variety of driving conditions November can bring in Colorado.  State Parks pass is required for the drivers of the carpooling vehicles.  Call the leader if going.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, November 3 will be to Pueblo Reservoir led by Ira and Tammy Sanders (303-278-7172). Meet the leaders at 0630 in the parking lot of the Safeway in Lone Tree at Yosemite St. and Lincoln Ave.  Bring plenty of water and lunch for an all-day trip.  State Parks pass required.  Call leader if going.
