For Thanksgiving, I will be in Arvada, walking distance from the Arvada Reservoir, and two other lakes labeled on Google Maps as Tucker and Leyden.
-- Does anyone have experience with these sites, or the nearby Open Spaces? Also, is anyone in the area and would like to meet one morning?
A quick Golden note: Canada Geese have been moving around quite a bit this past week. I hiked South Table Mountain last weekend and had Western Scrub-Jays, one American Tree Sparrow, many Flickers, and a calling Canyon Wren. Otherwise, crows, finches, chickadees, juncos, flickers, and starlings are the main company.
