[cobirds] Brant and Dunlin at Equalizer Lake/Houts Reservoir, Larimer Co.; Nov. 26

Hi,

In the Centerra area of Loveland the BRANT continues in the southwest part of Houts Reservoir with 3 Canada Geese, both on the water and on land nearby.

In mid-morning I observed a DUNLIN on the south shore of Equalizer Lake.  It and all of the birds on Equalizer were put up when a Bald Eagle flew over but they landed again in the same general area.

These bodies of water are largely iced over so most waterbirds were absent or in low numbers, except for hundreds of Canada and Cackling Geese.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Scott Baron
