A ranger told me last week about a citizen and volunteer ranger who'd viewed a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher on an electrical line by the historic cabin on the NE end of the valley loop trail. I got the information about 4 days after the sigting and was unable to relocate the bird. The folks who saw the bird had apparently taken pictures and I saw one of them this morning to comfirm the occurence. I know this is kind of a buzz kill, but I thought the community would be interested in knowing about this.
