[cobirds] More on Cave Swallow

Greetings All

So, coming from I-76, take the first entrance into Prewitt. That road ends in a T. Go L. Take second right, which winds to edge of reservoir. Walk out towards water's edge, and then work area between water's edge and inlet channel. You can also cross the now fragmented inlet channel, and chase swallows on far side. They seem to sit on drier mud (sand of sorts) and feed over entire area.

Also, later in day, Sean Walters and I had an adult GLOSSY IBIS at Loloff as well as the male MEXICAN DUCK there. Note that there is a male Mexican Duck x Mallard at Prewitt, around where the Cave Swallow was. This bird looks much like a Mexi, but tail has too much white and chest a bit too chestnut

Good Birding
Steve
