[cobirds] East Boulder County Birds

I did some neighborhood birding after work today.  My first surprise was a YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER in the small neighborhood north of Panama Res.  It first flew across the road.  At first I thought Hairy, but it just didn't look right.  I turned around and found it perched on  a small deciduous tree next to the second house at the corner of Nebraska Way & Colorado Dr.  It then was flushed by a large gray cat and flew around the back of the house.

Next good find was a GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET  in the Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont.

Also of note was a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK at Niwot an county Line Rd, but in Weld County and a Merlin at Hwy 287 & Oxford.
