Cathy Sheeter and I began our day along Brockway Drive between incorporated Boulder and Lafayette (I don't think this area is incorporated, though mailing addresses are Boulder). In any case, we were unable to relocate the YB Sapsucker previously reported there; those sappy suckers can be so elusive.
However, the area was fabulously birdy. In a two-hour walk or so we had the following:
12 redpolls, 11 definitely Common, 1 probably so
1 Cassin's Finch
12 Steller's Jays
11 WB Nuthatches (all montane)
5 Moutain Chickadees
4 Brown Creepers
Also, many, many Blue Jays and magpies, lotsa juncos, House Finches, robins, a few Spotted Towhees, etc. A very birdy area, and Brockway is only about 1 mile long.
Otherwise, not much. The various Broomfield spots had not much. A couple hundred gulls at Anthem Ranch had 2 Thayer's Gulls, and another Thayer's was at Glasser Reservoir. There was also a Thayer's at Prince L #1 near intersection of Arapahoe and US 287
Good Birding
