All,
Following yesterday's COBIRDS report, I headed to the Platte River in
north Denver this morning. The Rusty Blackbird flock was still under the
I-76 bridge and along the banks to the footbridge immediately downstream.
At one point, I counted 10 birds in the flock. I then walked north to the
green and white tank between 78th and 88th streets. There were 1 male and
3 female Barrow's Goldeneyes in the middle of the river. A nice morning.
Cheers, Peter Gent, Boulder.
