Adams County:
-- On January 20, Gent reports a small flock of Rusty Blackbirds continue on the South Platte River under the I-76 bridge. Gent also reports 1 male and 3 female Barrow's Goldeneyes on the S. Platte between 78th and 88th (opposite the green & white water tank) on the 20th
Arapahoe County:
--On January 16, Roller reported that a Long-tailed Duck is still at South Platte Reservoir (that is the one north of Chatfield). There is also a Common Loon here. The east 80% of the reservoir is in Arapahoe County. Sanders reported that 2 Long-tailed Ducks continue at sundown on January 19.
--On January 19, Walbek reported 2 Trumpeter Swans (they were gone by 9:30 am) and a 1st cycle ICELAND GULL at South Platte Reservoir.
Boulder County:
--On January 12, Thomas Heinrich reports the Northern Cardinal in his yard near the intersection of 3rd and Forest. You can call him at (303) 475-0465 for information.
--On January 13, Tumasonis reported a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker on Brockway Dr., 1 1/2 blocks west of 76th in Boulder. It was not found on January 17.
--On January 13, Guarente reported that the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW and a Harris's Sparrow continue on the Teller Farms Trail.
--On January 14, Pieplow reported 4 Common Redpoll west of 63rd & Twin Lakes where the Twin Lake Trail meets Robinson Place.
--On January 18, Vanderpoel reported a 1st cycle Great Black-backed Gull at Teller Lake #5. On Jan. 20, Sanders reports an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull here.
Delta County:
--On January 16, Beason reported 42 Bohemian Waxwings in his yard in Paonia.
El Paso County:
--On January 13, multiple observers report the ACORN WOODPECKER continues in SW Colorado Springs in the 1804 - 1810 section of Cheyenne Blvd. It was seen again on the 19th.
Jefferson County:
--Henwood reported on November 26 that the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW was found at Red Rocks Trading Post. Harris reports it continues on January 13.
--On January 14, Santangelo reports about 8 Common Redpoll coming to his feeder in Wheat Ridge. His address is: 3525 Estes St. (two blocks north of Crown Hill Lake and two blocks south of 38th Ave). You may park in front of the driveway but please do not park in the driveway and please stay in your car to observe the Redpolls.
--On January 13, Gillilan found a very dark, non-vocalizing stub-tailed wren along the creek at "Raccoon Hollar" nature park in Littleton. Raccoon Hollar is a small strip park extending along a portion of Raccoon Creek, starting off of W. Fair Drive just NE of its intersection with W. Leawood Dr. The wren was seen about halfway down the park, approximately 50 feet NW of the foot bridge across the creek near a signed entry point/station to the park. It was not found on January 14 or 15.
--On January 18, Marilyn Rhodes reports 4 Common Redpoll at her feeder in Hiwan Hills.
Garfield County:
--On January 18, Filby reported 145 Barrow's Goldeneye at Coryell Ranch in Carbondale.
Grand County:
--On January 18, Filby reported that in Kremmling the feeders in the 900 block of Eagle had 100 Common Redpolls. 1 HOARY REDPOLL was present. 60+ Rosy-Finches of all three species were present.
Larimer County:
--On January 17, Sparks reported 3 possible HOARY REDPOLL and 104 Common Redpoll behind the Discovery Museum in Ft. Collins, located at Cherry and Mason St which is the NW corner of College and Cherry. Multiple observers have seen HOARY REDPOLL at this location since December 23 when Komar photographed Redpolls here. On January 19, Wilson reports 50 Common Redpoll at this location.
--On January 18, Shenot had a flock of 24 Common Redpolls at the Community Church feeders in Livermore.
Mesa County:
--On January 14, Dexter reported 8 Common Redpoll at feeders just east of the intersection of CO-65 and Mesa County KE Rd about 1/4 mile from the intersection. The feeders are on the north side of the road. Look for a white trailer with blue trim. The feeders are on the west side of the trailer and easy to view from KE Rd.
Pueblo County:
--On January 16, Nelson reported that the Red-throated Loon previously reported by Percival, was seen off Juniper Breaks at Pueblo Reservoir. At the South Marina Komar reported that the Great Black-backed Gull and a 1st-cyc Glaucous Gull continue on January 13.
--On January 16, Nelson reported that the ACORN WOODPECKER is still present at Pueblo Mountain Park near Beulah.
Weld County:
--On January 14, Sheeter reported an adult Harris's Sparrow off of CR 52 near Lower Latham Reservoir and a White-throated Sparrow on CR 54.
--On January 15, Schmoker reported a Snow Bunting 0.7 mi. north of Weld Co. Rd. 122 on WCR 45.

Meet the leaders at 6:15 am at the Safeway parking lot at Lincoln and Yosemite - will leave no later than 6:30 to arrive at the marina by 8:00 am. Dress for weather as predicted. This will be a full day trip. Bring water, lunch, and any snacks you may need.
