I've seen a pair in our Louisville neighborhood as well as above Walden Reservoir in North Park.

I get pretty excited to see them because the Common Nighthawk isn't so common anymore, but maybe they're recovering a little?
Here's a pic I took in Walden.

This evening just before 7:30 PM I glanced out the window to check out the hummingbird feeder, but instead I noticed Common Nighthawks soaring over the cul-de-sac. There must have been at least 20 plus a Barn Swallow or two. It reminded me of the late 1990’s and the 5:00 PM hour when the nighthawks were very regular.
