[cobirds] Fall Banding at the Kingery Nature Center

Hello birders!

This fall, Denver Audubon is once again partnering with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies to band birds at the Kingery Nature Center, located at the south end of Chatfield State Park.

The station has operated for many years during spring migration, but last year we trialed a fall season for the first time, running for three weeks. The results were exciting, so we’re expanding the trial this year! The station will operate for eight weeks, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, from the last week of August through mid-October.

Interested in seeing the banding station in action? You can register to visit through Denver Audubon’s website. Registration is required, and spots fill quickly!

We hope to see you there.
