CoBirders, It’s that time again. The 7th annual Labor Day Cherry Creek SP Circumlakation! (I started this as “Let’s-get-outside-during-COVID” event, and I can’t let it go!) This is NOT an official event by any means. It’s just an invitation to join me on a bird walk around Cherry Creek State Park (about 13 miles total). Over the last six years, we’ve tallied over 100 different species total. This weird year . . . who knows? I'll start at the Tower Loop on September 7 at 630am, and head around the lake clockwise. That means we’re crossing the dam around 1:00pm . . . and we’ve been fortunate to get Rock Wren fairly often! No need to RSVP, just show up! If you have questions, email me back, or give me a text/call at 303-501-6659.
