[cobirds] Rosy-finch feeder count project - recruiting participants!

Hello Colorado Field Ornithologistsx.    :

We are recruiting feeder-counters for our Rosy-finch Project, and we'd especially love to get more participants from your area. Please share the information below with anyone who you think may be interested. Thanks so much for your help spreading the word!

Best,
Cooper Farr

Calling all bird enthusiasts - we need you!!
We are now recruiting volunteers from across the Western U.S. for our winter Rosy-finch Bird Feeder survey project. Volunteers for this project spend 20-minutes each month from December through April doing a count of Rosy-finches and other birds at their home bird feeder, or a publicly accessible feeder near them. To participate, you just need to be located within the winter range of the three North American Rosy-finch species: the Gray-crowned, Black, and Brown-capped Rosy-finch (see map below). Even if ysou haven't seen rosy-finches at your feeder before, if you're in the range, we'd love your participation! Learn more about the project at https://sagelandcollaborative.org/rosy-finch

To participate:
2. Schedule your feeder counts once per month, December - April
3. Print out datasheets here
4. Conduct your feeder counts (the first survey window is Dec 1 - Dec 31)
