All,
It's been a busy few weeks, but I've finally gotten some blog posts up about the most recent adventures and the unexpected December birds. With three days left in the year and iffy forecasts, I'm guessing I won't be finding any more birds, which may be a relief to some of you!
It's never too late to make a per species pledge or a tax-deductible flat donation to the Joe Roller Memorial Grant. We've eclipsed $37,000 with donations and pledges to date! This far exceeds my modest expectations for this endeavor. If we can raise $40,000, we will likely be able to invest the funds and support a research grant annually just off of the interest, in perpetuity (or pretty darned close). This is pretty amazing! Thank you for all the support! What a way to honor Joe and support important bird research in Colorado!

Blog posts:
Cynthia's Wood Thrush!!
Black-and-white Warbler for #282 and a new Colorado Green year record. Here's to Thomas Heinrich!
I rode to Aurora Reservoir for a Red-necked Grebe. I hope that grebe appreciates that 72 mile ride!
The last new Green Big Year bird? Trumpeter Swan #284!
Hopefully over the next couple months I'll compile more stories and adventures from this year. There are so many untold trips, birds, challenges, and fun times.
Thank you all.
