[cobirds] Christmas Bird Count update

Hi all,

The first day of Christmas Bird Counts begins next Tuesday.  If you want to participate, make sure to contact the compiler of the count you want to join.  Note some counts aren't open for more helpers.  Check the Christmas Bird Count website to find the compiler of the count, and how to contact them, if there's room for more helpers.  People aren't able to pre-register on the CBC Website, as has happen a few years ago.  The Christmas Bird Count Website is 122nd Christmas Bird Count: Map of Active Circles (arcgis.com)

Count week for each count is three days before and three days after count day, if you are birding in a Christmas Bird Count circle, and see something missed on count day, please let the compiler know, or let me know. 

Hopefully it will be a successful Christmas Bird Count season here in Colorado.  So, far I believe 48 Colorado Christmas Bird Counts are taking place between December 14 to January 5th.
