CObirders,
-- I have been watering my native bushes and trees this morning-- something I have only done a few times since I planted them over 10 years ago.
Despite having standing water in "bird baths" in my yard for the birds, the most popular place in my yard this morning for dozens of robins, blackbirds, chickadees and juncos was my dripping root waterer! It is leaking water in several places.
Robin drinking from the root waterer:
Actually, the blue jays were monopolizing my largest bird bath, taking turns splashing in the water.
