Good afternoon, COBirders,
I was out this afternoon, getting in some "looks" before the weather begins to change tomorrow.
I was fortunate to run into some folks who helped guide me to the Swamp Sparrow(s) south of C-470 at the "beaver dam". (I missed the Rusty Blackbirds . . . .)
Especially in that area of the S. Platte, one can be in three counties on one eBird list if one isn't careful. So, when I got home, I did some VERY detailed map-gazing and found that that beaver pond/oxbow area of Marcy Gulch is in Douglas County. (I would have preferred Arapahoe — just sayin'.)
So, I'm wondering if there have been sightings of the SWSP elsewhere in ARAPAHOE County (including north of C-470)? Especially in that area of the S. Platte, one can be in three counties on one eBird list if one isn't careful.
Thanks!
