The Yellow-crowned Night-Heron at Sells Lake was out and readily visible from from this morning to dark tonight. I stopped by several times today and it was perched in easily viewed location from the far northeast part of the pond. I stayed late to see if would fly off or what but I lost site of it at 8:10 in the downed trees about 30 feet from the fence.
-- The gate to private property adjacent to the lake is sometimes open but not indicating permission to enter so please do not trespass to get a better view.
