Was chatting with two other birders at Lagerman Res (Bolder Co) today around 10:30 am when I spotted a single Sandhill crane. Rested out by the PD colony just to the west for about 3 minutes, then spiraled (thermaled?) up and headed... SW towards Boulder Res.
