Today we were faced with winds that caused about half our nets to be closed for the majority of the day. However, warblers dominated our catch. We caught a total of 22 birds of 10 species:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet: 1
House Wren: 1
Yellow-Rumped "Audubon's" Warbler:9
Yellow-Rumped "Myrtle" Warbler: 3
Orange-crowned Warbler: 2
Yellow Warbler: 1
Black-and-White Warbler: 1
Lincoln's Sparrow: 1
Spotted Towhee: 1
American Robin: 2

We are open 6 days a week (closed Sundays), weather permitting. This week we'll be opening nets around 6:20 and closing around 11:20.
Come visit!
