Thanks for posting this here. When I found this bird I knew it was rare but I did not fully realize how rare until later in the morning. Hopefully it will stay around for a while so more people can see it. It seems like its been in the open space south of Martin Luther King Blvd, closest to Beeler Street, all day. Access to this area is very easy. Parking is allowed on the Beeler Street south of Martin Luther King Blvd. It seems like he didn't stray too far from where I found him in the trees along the two ponds nearest Beeler St.

Ann Troth and I got photos of the elusive Hooded Warbler about 12:30 PM today Wednesday the 24th at the pond with the island just SW of the MLK Boulevard bridge at Beeler St in the Westerly Creek Park.
