Lots of birds and birders around Pueblo, during the three day Holiday Weekend.

Pueblo Reservoir:
Mew Gull - 1 adult (seen all three days, mostly at N. Shore Marina tires, also once at S. Shore Marina tires)
Great Black-backed Gull - 1 adult (all three days, most at S. Shore Marina)
Iceland Gull (Thayer's) Gull - 1 adult (photographed on Sunday)
Franklin's Gull - 1 non-full adult (all three days, seen mostly at N. Shore Marina, also at S. Shore Marina)
Bonaparte's Gulls - continue in the western part of Pueblo Reservoir
Lesser Black-backed Gull - continue at South Shore Marina mostly
Red-necked Grebe - 1 on the 19th, far off Hobie Cat Road, seen in the early morning good light)
Long-tailed Duck - 2 on the 19th, one off Hobie Cat Road, one near the dam (also seen here on the 20th)
Common Loon - up to 3 (all three days), mostly near the dam
Valco Ponds/Rock Canyon:
Trumpeter Swan - 1 adult (all three days, first found on Monday the 14th)
Black Phoebe - 1 seen on the 20th
Eastern Bluebird - 1 seen on the 19th and 21st
Say's Phoebe - 1 seen on 19th and 20th
Rock Wren - 1 seen on the 19th
Pueblo Nature Center and West along the Arkansas River ($5 parking fee, to park here):
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 1 seen on the 21st
White-throated Sparrow - 1 seen on the 19th
Hermit Thrush - 2 seen on the 19th
Arkansas River, below Pueblo City Park and east (from south side of River):
Carolina Wren - 1 singing, all three days
Barrow's Goldeneye - 2 males, on 19th and 20th
Some other interesting birds were seen on Thursday the 17th around Pueblo, not sure if these were found over the weekend or not. Red Fox Sparrow, Winter Wren, Northern Mockingbird, Black-crowned Night-Heron. All were looked for on Saturday, and not seen.
