Dear Cobirders (especially those out looking for the warbler),
Yesterday afternoon the GC Warbler was making regular, but infrequent, appearances in the chokecherry bushes on the west side of CR 9 (location shown in screenshot below). It seemed to appear every 30-45 min in the southern-most portion of the chokecherry stand, those bushes surrounding a pair of large cottonwoods just a few feet deeper than the downed log. From about 1:30-4:00 yesterday it appeared 4 times in that location, for probably less than 1 min each time. Its appearances seemed to coincide with those of MacG's warblers.
Sorry for the late post. A huge thanks to Glenn Walbek for the amazing find! The Canada Warbler and Yellow-billed Cuckoo were nice bonuses!
Good luck to those out searching and driving in wet conditions,
Thomas Heinrich
