—On May 13 at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR First Creek, Dave Blue found a 1st year m Vermilion Flycatcher.   Last reported by Elaine Wagner on May 20. Note, the bird moves between Adams and Denver Counties.  On May 21 at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR First Creek, Candice Johnson and Jeff Dawson, Cheryl Teuton and Dan Brooke reported Vermilion Flycatcher and Johnson reported Red-headed Woodpecker.  On May 22 at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR First Creek, Sheila Liley reported Virginia's Warbler; Eric DeFonso reported Broad-winged Hawk and Vermilion Flycatcher.  On May 23 at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR First Creek, Dean Shoup reported Mountain Bluebird.

BENT COUNTY:
—On May 20 at Old Homestead, Connie Kohler reported Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.
—On May 20 at "Gravel Island", Duane Nelson reported Caspian Tern, Piping Plover, Black-bellied Plover.   Gravel Island is west of Plover Island on the north shore of John Martin Reservoir.
—On May 20 at Adobe Creek Reservoir (Blue Lake), Duane Nelson reported Black Terns, Least Tern, White-rumpled Sandpipers, Stilt Sandpiper and 4 Red-necked Phalaropes.

BOULDER COUNTY:
—On May 20 at Bobolink Trail (dirt trail from parking lot heading SW), Ryan Bushong reported Golden-winged Warbler and Tennessee Warbler. Several other birders were able to refund the birds.
—On May 20 at St. Vrain River Crossing at 63rd Street, CFO Convention Group reported Chestnut-sided Warbler and Eastern Phoebe.  On May 21 at St Vrain River Crossing at 63rd Street, John Rutenbeck reported Eastern Phoebe.  On May 22 at St. Vrain River Crossing at 63rd Street, Luke Pheneger reported Eastern Phoebe.
—On May 20 at Boulder Creek CU-East Hugh Kingery and Peter Gent reported Cassin's Vireo.
—On May 20 at 4006 Ute Hwy. in Lyons, Joel Such reported. Veery and Chestnut-sided Warbler.
—On May 20 at Walden Ponds, Bill Schreitz reported 2 Eastern Phoebe.

— On May 20 at Alex &Michael's Pond, David Ely reported Veery. 

CHEYENNE COUNTY:
---On May 15 at Mitchek Ranch (Private), Glenn Walbek found and photographed a GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER which is visible from CR 9 about ½ mile south of the Kit Carson/Cheyenne county line.  It has been seen by several birders on May 15-18.  GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER would be a new state record if accept.  It is very rare outside of south Texas.    
---On May 21 at Mitchek Ranch view from road, John Drummond first spotted the GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER in the north Chokecherry Patch.  Many birders got to see the GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER.  Also reported were Cordilleran Flycatcher, f Black-headed Grosbeak, and MOURNING WARBLER.
---On May 22 at Mitchek Ranch view from road, Nathan Pieplow reported the GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER in the north Chokecherry Patch.  Many birders saw the warbler.  Also reported were Red-headed Woodpecker, Least Flycatchers, m Black-throated Blue Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, Dickcissel.
---On May 23 at Mitchek Ranch view from Road, Michael Lester and Christy Payne reported that the GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER showed about 10:30 am in the north most chockcherries on the west side of the road.  Many birders saw the warbler.  Also reported were Alder Flycatcher, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and Red-headed Woodpecker.  Linda Hodges reported that the GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER was last seen about 12:45 pm.  The Chokecherry blossoms have died back a great deal and it was very windy.  On May 19 when the warbler was not seen it was also very windy.
—On May 20 the GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER was reported at Mitchell Ranch by several birders.  In addition, Dusky Flycatcher, 4 Black-headed Grosbeak, Eastern Bluebird, Redhead and 2 Hammond's Flycatcher.
—On May 19 NO GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER, but several birders reported 3 Redhead,  2 Dusky Flycatcher, 2 Hammond's Flycatcher, Cordilleran Flycatcher, Gray Flycatcher, Eastern Bluebird, Eastern Phoebe, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Tennessee Warbler, Bell's Vireo, 2 Black-headed Grosbeak. 
—On May 18 several birders reported the following birds at same location as GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER:  Redhead, Dusky Flycatcher, Cordilleran Flycatcher, Bell's Vireo, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Eastern Bluebird, Virginia's Warbler, Canada Warbler and Black-headed Grosbeak.—On May 17 at Mitchek Ranch several birders reported Mourning Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Canada Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak, and one report of Yellow-throated Warbler by Scott Manwaring.
—On May 16 at Mitchek Ranch on CR 9, Joey Keller and several others reported MOURNING WARBLER, Black-throated Blue Warber, Northern Parula, American Redstart, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Veery, Least Flycatcher, Nashville Warbler, Red-eyed Vireo, Indigo Bunting.  

DENVER COUNTY:
—On May 20 at First Creek at DEN OS, John Breitsch reported 3 Long -billed Dowitcher.  On May 18-19 he reported Cassin's Kingbird and  Vermillion Flycatcher.  On May 22 at First Creak at DEN OS, Eric DeFonso reported Broad-winged Hawk.
—On May 20 at Westerly Wetlands, John Breitsch reported 5 Long-billed Dowitcher and Jason Bidgood reported 2 Black-necked Stilt.  
---On May 23 at Denver International Airport on NW side, Eric DeFonso reported singing Grasshopper Sparrow.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
—On May 20 at Parker Regional Park, Nancy Davis reported 3 Great-tailed Grackle.
—On May 20 at Walker Road Gravel Pond, Nancy Davis reported Cattle Egret.  OnMay 22 at Wlaker Road Gravel Pond, Nancy Davis and Gregg Goodrich reported 1st summer Common Loon.

EL PASO COUNTY:
—On May 20 at Adams Open Space in Fountain, Tim Leppek reported Mississippi Kite.  On May 21 at Adams Open Space, Nate Kauffman reported 2 Mississippi Kites.
—On May 20 at Clear Spring Ranch Dianne Roberts reported Scarlet Tanager.  On May 23 at Clear Spring Ranch, Steve Brown banded 2nd year m Painted Bunting, 2 Ovenbirds, 2nd yr m Magnolia Warbler and reported a soaring Mississippi Kite.
—On May 20 and May 18 at Chico Basin Ranch, Chris Goulart reported Ladder-backed Woodpecker, Ash-throated Flycatcher, Curve-billed Thrasher.  On May 21 at Chico Basin Ranch, David Tonnessen and Jim Merritt reported Red-headed Woodpecker.
—On May 20 at Fountain Creek Regional Park, Joel Adams reported 7 Stilt Sandpiper and Mississippi Kite.
—On May 20 at Squirrel Creek Reservoir, Diane Roberts and Betty Glass reported Canvasback.

---On May 23 at Arapahoe Bend Natural Area—Rigden Reservoir (Strauss Cabin Lake), Jay Breidt reported Ruddy Turnstone and Rob Sparks reported Ruddy Turnstone and Sanderling.  Many birders were able to see both birds. 
---On May 23 at small gravel pit on S side of Horsetooth Road directly across from Rigden Reservoir, Sean Walters reported Ruddy Turnstone about 8:00 pm.
