[cobirds] Cordilleran Flycatcher - Centennial (Arapahoe)

This morning, I walked my dogs along the High Line Canal / Little Dry Creek nexus in Centennial (around E. Orchard & S. Colorado). Lots of House Wrens & Broad-tailed Hummers. We also had a singing Black-headed Grosbeak. And a Cordilleran Flycatcher, my first in Arapahoe Co., was calling from along the creek, just off the canal.

The canal is increasingly under water, as Denver Water released water three or four days ago. It looked to me like this stretch of the canal was the front edge of the water flow -- as the water got deeper the farther west I walked on the trail. Mallards seemed happy about this.
