Dear Cobirders,
I spent 2.5 hrs this afternoon searching for the Brambling at the Hawthorne gardens in north Boulder and did not find it. There are feeders in at least three locations in the gardens, at which there were House Finch, Am Goldfinch, House Sparrow, and C Grackle. Also, in the area, a flock of about a dozen Chipping Sparrows and a Spotted Towhee that refused to show itself. As I left around 4:00 pm, the temp was dropping and activity picking up.
Hope it can be found.
Good birding,
Thomas Heinrich
