[cobirds] Visitors are NOT welcome to view Hooded Oriole, so I am told.

Friends are asking me what I know about viewing the mega-rarity

in Douglas County, a Hooded Oriole.

I have no direct knowledge, but heard second hand that the oriole

is on private property and the homeowner does NOT want to be

contacted or visited by anyone.

One birder who saw the bird is a work colleague of the homeowner

and thus was invited.

This is a public service announcement and it's all I know.

IF someone knows better, please share with the group.
