Hi, About midday today I stopped at the St. Vrain Creek bridge along Hygiene Rd. in hopes of hearing/seeing a Red eyed Vireo reported there. I was pleased to see a Snowy Egret, several Common Merganser and 4 Spotted Sandpiper along the sandy wash on the north side of the road. I spent about twenty minutes walking both sides of the road but came up empty on the Red eyed Vireo. Then, on my last pass of the bridges south side I spotted a perched Black Phoebe quite close to the road. It made just one more sally/perch before flying off down the creek.
