This morning (30 May), I went to Chico Basin Ranch (fee area), hoping that the Chestnut-sided Warbler reported on e-bird the last couple of days, would still be around.

Here are my highlights:
El Paso County side:

Red-headed Woodpecker - 2 (probably breeding here)
Ladder-backed Woodpecker - 2 (breeds here)
Willow Flycatchers (migrants)
Ash-throated Flycatcher - 2 (breeds here)
Warbling  Vireo - 1 singing
Swainson's Thrushes - less than 5 (migrants)
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1 male, 1 female (migrants)
Yellow-breasted Chat - 1
Cassin's Sparrow - 1 singing in the cholla cactus
Lincoln's Sparrow - 2 (migrants)
Western Tanager - 1 (migrant)
Orchard Oriole - pair (breeds here)

Pueblo County side:
Willow Flycatchers (migrants)
Ash-throated Flycatcher (breeds here)
Yellow Warbler - 1 singing
Yellow-rumped (Audubon's) Warbler - 1 (migrant)
Lincoln's Sparrow - 2 (migrants)
