Re: [cobirds] Gtr. Roadrunner - Jeffco

Rascal, the Roadrunner is back!
OR his mate or offspring. Or an related roadrunner.

Rascal was last seen a month or so after the commotion died down, by
hawk-watchers a little north of his usual spot, but there have been no interim reports til now.

Subsequent reports would be welcome.
Thanks, Hugh.

Joe Roller

PS  I'll check with my contacts in New Mexico and Arizona and see if they are missing one of their roadrunners.

Do you remember the Greater Roadrunner that ran along the Hogback near the Hawk Watch, 2-3 years ago?

Kari Schoen, who lives in Lakewood below the Hogback, and one of her neighbors, saw roadrunner in her yard on May 18. (She reported it to Denver Audubon.) Has anyone heard of that roadrunner since the original spate of observations?
