[cobirds] Snowy Owl (Denver County)

Just to keep Joe Roller happy, the Snowy Owl WAS seen today. I watched it for about a hour and it moved very little but seemed healthy and alert. It was in the same area previously described. This is on the north side of a dirt road to the south of 114 Ave and east of Trussville St. I was lucky enough to have a 3 owl morning. There was a Burrowing Owl (really late) at the southwest corner of 114th and Trussville and I also spotted a Short-haired Owl flying on the west side of Trussville near 120th. There were about 10 carload of birders watching the Snowy this morning and everyone was on their best behavior.

I stopped at Cherry Creek Reservoir (Arapahoe County) on my way home where I saw the adult Mew Gull, a Thayer's Gull and a Lesser Black-backed Gull. I missed the Barrow's Goldeneyes and the Long-tailed Duck though.
