I took Gary Lefko's bait and made a stab at some sort of "2015 Top Ten" (with an "Honorable Mention" addition).
Being someone who tries to document birds with a camera, to me the most amazing thing about the Vaux's Swift event is how Brandon somehow got a pic useful enough to assist in documenting this species. The shots Bill Maynard got of White-throated Swifts (see cover of Colorado Birds 46(3)-July 2012) at Garden of the Gods years ago still blow my mind. Satisfactorily photographing a swift, any swift, is one of my resolutions for 2016.
