-- First of all, thank you to everyone for the great birding tips. A special thanks to Doug Kibbe who went birding with us on Saturday.
We just finalized our ebird lists and saw 54 species in two days. We added five life birds:
Cassin's Finch
Clark's Nutcracker
Pine Grosbeak
Cackling Goose
Prairie Falcon
Plus five year birds:
Barrow's Goldeneye
Western Grebe
Ferruginous Hawk
Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch
Brown-capped Rosy-Finch
This is way more than we expected or even hoped for.
Colorado is a beautiful state and I know we will be back. Please contact me if you are ever in Florida so I can return the favor.
